- Trains Department Managers and Supervisors preparing to be managers in HR management knowledge and skills.

- Trains Department Managers on the HR Manualand Hilton systems.

- Coaches Department Managers and Supervisors and provides feedback on their HR and Management skills.

- Provides Resources: Adapts and implements Hilton Staffing, Compensation and Administration Systems

- Designs forms,reports and processes to meet locallabor laws.

- Designs localpolicies, procedures, and employee programs and other guidelines.

- Develops local Employee Relations (health, safety,etc.) standards.

Maintains reference material (books, videos, etc.)

- Recommends localadaptations to the HR Manual,including Hilton Policies.

- Conducts pay and benefitsurveys on an annualbasis.

- Develops salarystructures and grades.

- Develops andmaintains the Employee Handbook.

- Develops otherhandouts for TeamMembers (explaining benefitprograms, etc.).

Directs outside HR resources

- Directs HR consultant assignments.

- Provides directHR Management assistance to managers

- Directs HR Team in Staffing effortsfor all hotelpositions (search, interviewing, background checks, job offers).

- Directs HR Office, Coordinators and Secretary for Personnel Administration efforts.

- Provides administration and coaching guidance through the Performance Development Review process.

- Assists Department Managers with manpower planning, labor budgets, HR strategy, and incentive program design.

- Analyses activity and results of HR Management and communicates findings to managers.

- Advises Department Managers on allproposed personnel actions (position/pay change, etc.)

- Assists at resolving any HR issuesarising from Department Communications Meetings.
