Job Description – Chargeback Officer

Position: Officer/AM
Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

- Handle chargeback and dispute management for Visa, Mastercard, and RuPay transactions.
- Review and process chargeback requests, representments, and dispute cases within defined timelines.
- Analyze transaction details, supporting documents, and customer/merchant claims.
- Coordinate with banks, merchants, internal teams, and payment networks for dispute resolution.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of chargeback cases.
- Track chargeback status, ageing, TAT, and pending cases.
- Identify recurring dispute trends and escalate critical or high-value cases.
- Maintain daily MIS and reports related to chargebacks and disputes.
- Ensure compliance with Visa, Mastercard, and RuPay dispute/chargeback guidelines.





Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in Chargeback / Dispute Management.
- Good understanding of Visa, Mastercard & RuPay transaction flows and dispute processes.
- Knowledge of transaction types such as POS, E-commerce, UPI/Card transactions will be an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Robust attention to detail and documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and MIS reporting.

Education

Graduate in any discipline, preferably Commerce, Finance, Banking, or a related field.

Pay: ₹293,243.18 - ₹600,000.00 per year
