Job Summary

Overlook Global is seeking an Asset Management Analyst – Hospitality to support the financial and operational performance of our growing hotel portfolio.

The Analyst will work across asset management, finance, investment management, and hotel operations to monitor property performance, analyze financial results, identify performance gaps, maintain forecasts and dashboards, and support initiatives designed to improve profitability and investment returns.

This is not simply a reporting or accounting position. We are looking for someone who can analyze financial and operating information, identify what is driving performance, and help determine what actions should be taken to improve each asset.

Prior hospitality or real estate experience is preferred but not required for candidates with a strong background in financial analysis, FP&A;, corporate finance, accounting, or operating finance.

Key Responsibilities

- Review monthly hotel P&Ls;, operating statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow reports.
- Perform detailed actual vs. budget, actual vs. prior year, and actual vs. underwriting variance analysis.
- Monitor and analyze hotel performance metrics including:
- Occupancy
- ADR
- RevPAR
- RevPAR Index
- GOP
- GOP Margin
- EBITDA / NOI
- Flow-through
- Labor costs
- Departmental margins
- Review STR reports and competitive-set performance to identify market-share and revenue opportunities.
- Analyze revenue trends, operating expenses, labor productivity, margins, and profitability.
- Assist with preparation of annual hotel budgets and business plans.
- Maintain rolling forecasts and update expected property-level financial performance.
- Develop and maintain property-level and portfolio-level dashboards.




- Identify underperforming areas and assist in developing corrective-action plans.
- Monitor implementation of asset-management initiatives and property business plans.
- Track CapEx and Property Improvement Plan spending against approved budgets and timelines.
- Monitor hotel cash flow, debt service, reserves, DSCR, debt yield, and financing requirements.
- Support monthly and quarterly performance reviews with hotel management companies and property leadership.
- Conduct market, competitive-set, and industry research.
- Assist with property valuations and investment-return analysis.
- Support refinance, recapitalization, hold/sell, and disposition analysis.
- Update IRR, MOIC, and cash-on-cash projections as property performance changes.
- Prepare management presentations and executive summaries explaining key performance trends.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost reduction, margin improvement, and operational efficiency.

Solid candidates should be capable of going beyond simply reporting:

“Expenses were above budget.”

and instead determine:

“Labor expense increased because occupied rooms grew faster than productivity, while ADR remained below budget, resulting in weaker flow-through and lower GOP margin.”

That level of analytical thinking is central to the position.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance,



Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Hospitality, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Approximately 1–4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A;, asset management, hospitality finance, real estate, corporate finance, accounting, or a related analytical role.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and operating performance.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage recurring deadlines.

Experience or familiarity with any of the following is preferred:

- STR
- M3
- CoStar
- Power BI
- USALI
- Hotel P&Ls;
- RevPAR analysis
- Property accounting
- CapEx / PIP tracking
- Financial modeling
- Hospitality or commercial real estate

What Success Looks Like

A successful Asset Management Analyst should eventually be able to independently review a hotel’s monthly performance and answer:

- What happened?
- Why did it happen?
- What is the financial impact?
- What needs to change?
- How does this affect the value and return of the investment?

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
