Position: Physiotherapist

Location: Valasaravakkam, Chennai

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Physiotherapist to assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide physiotherapy and rehabilitation services to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and regain functional independence.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess patients' physical conditions and functional limitations.
- Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and other appropriate techniques.
- Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment plans when required.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, posture, mobility, and home-care programs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals when necessary.
- Follow professional, ethical, and safety standards.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and provide a comfortable, respectful environment.





Requirements

- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) or Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) from a recognized institution.
- Valid professional registration, where applicable.
- Good clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a healthcare team.
- Basic computer/documentation skills.
- Female candidates preferred/required, depending on the role and patient-care requirements.

Preferred Skills

- Good interpersonal and patient-handling skills.
- Empathetic and patient-focused approach.
- Knowledge of exercise prescription and rehabilitation techniques.
- Experience in women's health, orthopedics, neurology, geriatrics, or home physiotherapy is an advantage.
