React Developer – Laravel Stack

Position Overview

We are seeking a React Developer with 5-6 years of professional experience to lead frontend development on our full-stack web applications. You will architect and build scalable React applications, collaborate with backend engineers on Laravel API design, mentor junior developers, and drive technical excellence across our frontend stack.

Key Responsibilities

Design and architect React applications with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability

Lead the development of complex React components, custom hooks, and state management solutions

Own frontend responsibilities end-to-end: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring

Collaborate with Laravel backend developers to design and implement effective API contracts

Mentor junior and mid-level developers, conduct code reviews, and establish frontend best practices

Optimize React applications for performance, accessibility, and SEO

Debug complex frontend issues and implement solutions across the application stack

Contribute to architectural decisions and technical planning for frontend systems

Implement automated testing strategies (unit, integration, and E2E tests)

Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and product discussions

Stay current with React ecosystem developments and recommend technology upgrades

Required Skills & Experience

5-6 years of professional React development experience

Strong expertise in JavaScript/ES6+, async patterns, and up-to-date JavaScript features

Deep knowledge of React hooks, context API, and state management libraries (Redux, Recoil, Zustand, MobX)

Proven experience building and maintaining complex, production-grade React applications

Solid understanding of Laravel architecture, REST API design, and backend integration patterns

Proficiency with consuming and designing APIs (REST, GraphQL, or both)

Advanced Git workflows and version control practices

Expertise with modern build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, or similar)





Strong testing practices with Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright

Solid grasp of CSS/SCSS, responsive design, and web accessibility (WCAG standards)

Experience with performance monitoring and optimization techniques

Expected Proficiencies

Advanced problem-solving in complex frontend scenarios

Code quality focus with ability to refactor and improve legacy code

Documentation of components, APIs, and architectural decisions

Independent project ownership with minimal supervision

Mentoring capability for junior developers

Nice-to-Have Skills

TypeScript proficiency in React applications

Hands-on Laravel development experience

GraphQL and Apollo Client implementation

Server-side rendering (Next.js, Remix) or static site generation

Docker, containerization, and deployment practices

CI/CD pipeline configuration and GitOps

Micro-frontend architecture experience

Experience with design systems and component libraries (Storybook, etc.)

Web performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse)

Previous technical leadership or team lead experience

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, OR equivalent professional experience demonstrating advanced expertise
