Role Overview

Fitness First is seeking a Cycling Trainer to lead engaging indoor cycling classes that combine effective cardio training, music, and performance-focused coaching. The trainer will make sessions accessible to all levels while creating a strong sense of community in the studio.

Key Responsibilities

Design and lead structured indoor cycling workouts with clear intensity, resistance, cadence, and recovery guidance.

Set up and inspect bikes, sound, music, and studio conditions before each class.

Coach safe bike positioning, riding technique, posture, and appropriate resistance.

Offer options for beginners and experienced riders without losing class momentum.

Use motivating music, confident cueing, and performance feedback to maintain engagement.





Reset the studio after class and report equipment or safety issues promptly.

Requirements

Recognised indoor cycling or group-exercise certification.

Previous experience leading indoor cycling or comparable cardio classes.

Robust microphone presence, music selection, pacing, and class-management skills.

Comfort coaching a mixed-level group and maintaining a safe, inclusive atmosphere.

Current first-aid and CPR certification is preferred.
