Job Description – Water Plant Chemist / Lab Technician

Position: Water Plant Chemist / Lab Technician

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month

Location:THODUPUZHA

Job Responsibilities:

* Conduct regular chemical and microbiological tests of raw water and treated water.

* Check parameters such as pH, TDS, hardness, chlorine, turbidity, alkalinity, etc.

* Collect and maintain water samples as per testing procedures.

* Operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment.

* Maintain accurate records of test results and prepare daily reports.

* Monitor water treatment processes and ensure quality standards are maintained.

* Identify abnormal test results and report issues to the concerned supervisor.

* Maintain cleanliness, safety,



and proper handling of laboratory chemicals.

* Ensure compliance with applicable water quality and safety standards.

Requirements:

* Diploma/B.Sc. in Chemistry, Microbiology, Environmental Science or related field.

* Experience in a water treatment plant/laboratory is preferred.

* Freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply.

* Basic computer knowledge and positive record-keeping skills.

* Ability to work in shifts if required.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
