We are seeking a highly articulate and creative ICSE Primary English Teacher to join our faculty. In this role, you will be responsible for building a strong foundational command of the English language among students in Classes 1 to 5. You will implement the CISCE curriculum guidelines, focusing evenly on English Language (grammar, composition, comprehension) and English Literature (poetry, prose, drama) to cultivate a lifelong love for reading and impeccable communication skills. Key ResponsibilitiesICSE English Curriculum & Lesson Delivery

- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons covering both English Language (phonics, vocabulary, functional grammar, and creative writing) and English Literature (prose and poetry).
- Cultivate reading and listening skills through structured reading hours, storytelling sessions, and guided group discussions.
- Train students in correct pronunciation, diction, and public speaking early on, aligning with the high linguistic standards of the ICSE board.

Creative & Interactive Assessments

- Design continuous internal evaluations, including spelling bees, reading aloud tests, pictorial compositions, and recitation assessments.
- Assign and evaluate creative projects (such as book reviews, character sketches, and role-plays) that move away from rote learning.
- Maintain detailed progress portfolios tracking each student's growth in reading comprehension, handwriting, and written expression.

Co-Curricular & Literary Leadership

- Organize and anchor literary events such as elocution, debate, creative writing contests,



and poetry recitation for the primary wing.
- Encourage library usage and guide students in selecting age-appropriate literature to build their vocabulary.
- Train students for school assemblies and drama performances to build their stage confidence.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in English (B.A. in English / English Literature).
- Experience: 2–3 years of experience teaching English in an ICSE/ISC school is highly preferred.
- Language Proficiency: Impeccable, fluent command over written and spoken English with neutral diction and excellent vocabulary.
- Curriculum Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the CISCE framework for primary school language acquisition and text selection.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
