About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to lead sales activities and drive business growth across the assigned area in Pune.

The role involves managing field sales activities, developing dealer and customer relationships, guiding the sales team, generating recent business opportunities, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

- Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth across the assigned area.
- Lead, monitor, and motivate field sales team members to achieve individual and team targets.
- Identify and develop new dealers, distributors, and business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, customers, and key clients.
- Conduct regular market visits and monitor sales activities across the assigned territory.
- Ensure proper follow-up and conversion of leads.
- Monitor CRM entries, sales pipelines, and follow-up activities.
- Conduct team review meetings and provide guidance to sales team members.
- Support and train team members on products, sales processes, and market strategies.
- Coordinate with logistics, installation, and service teams for smooth order fulfilment.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports,



forecasts, and market updates to management.
- Conduct local promotional activities, dealer meets, and customer engagement activities.

Who Can Apply

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in thesolar industry or related sectors is preferred.
- Strong sales, negotiation, communication, and team management skills.
- Good knowledge of the local market and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel for field sales activities.
- Candidates with experience in dealer/distributor management will be preferred.
