We are looking for a skilled and responsible Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering/Maintenance team. The candidate will be responsible for attending to day-to-day maintenance requirements, troubleshooting equipment and facilities, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the hotel property.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of hotel equipment, rooms, and facilities.
- Attend to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance requirements.
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical and mechanical issues as required.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, staff areas, and back-of-house facilities.
- Attend to guest room maintenance complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain and repair lighting fixtures, switches, sockets, plumbing fittings, and other related equipment.
- Assist in the maintenance of pumps, motors, water systems, and other hotel equipment.
- Carry out preventive maintenance as per the maintenance schedule.
- Report major faults, equipment breakdowns,



and repair requirements to the Engineering Supervisor/Manager.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts used.
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure safe handling of tools and equipment.
- Coordinate with other departments to attend to maintenance requirements without affecting hotel operations.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper upkeep of the maintenance/work area.
- Perform any other maintenance-related duties assigned by the Engineering Supervisor/Manager.

Requirements

- ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related technical field.
- Previous experience in hotel/resort maintenance will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance works.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills
- Responsible, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
