Role Summary :
This is a critical, hands-on position responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely consolidation of financial information across multiple business segments, including Advisory, Servicing, Private Real Estate Funds, Working Capital, and a Publicly Traded REIT.

The ideal candidate will be a strong accounting qualified with extensive US GAAP experience, deep NetSuite expertise, and a proven track record in multi-entity accounting, financial consolidation, and month-end close activities. This role is intended as a long-term strategic addition to the finance organization and requires an individual who can work independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
1. Third-Party Accounting Review & Data Integration

- Review accounting records and financial data prepared by outsourced accounting partners before and after posting into NetSuite.
- Validate the accuracy and completeness of transactions across multiple entities.
- Perform detailed reviews of the Servicing business, ensuring loan payoffs, servicing fees, and related income are accurately captured and recorded.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounting records and financial data.
- Transform and reconcile fund-level accounting data received from Harmonic into NetSuite-compatible journal entries and uploads.




- Collaborate with external accounting firms and fund administrators to ensure data integrity and timely issue resolution.

2. Corporate Accounts Payable Management (Ramp Platform)

- Review and validate GL coding of corporate invoices, expenses, and vendor bills.
- Ensure expenses are accurately allocated across departments, business units, and legal entities.
- Identify REIT-eligible expenses and ensure proper tagging, allocation, and recharge to the public REIT entity.
- Maintain strong controls around expense classification and reporting accuracy.

3. Cash Reconciliation & Treasury Support

- Perform reconciliations across a large portfolio of corporate and operating bank accounts.
- Investigate and resolve unreconciled transactions in a timely manner.
- Ensure cash balances and related accounting records are complete and accurate.
- Support month-end close through timely completion of account reconciliations.

4. NetSuite Reporting & Financial Consolidation

- Extract and analyze financial data from NetSuite for management reporting purposes.
- Prepare and maintain standardized financial reporting packages and management reports.
- Support complex intercompany, cross-entity expense,



and P&L; allocations required for consolidated financial statements.
- Assist in monthly timesheet-based departmental allocation processes.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Contribute to the preparation of consolidated financial statements and management reporting deliverables.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Qualified US CPA or Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Approximately 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate accounting, general ledger accounting, or financial reporting.
- Strong hands-on experience with US GAAP accounting and financial statement preparation.
- Advanced proficiency in NetSuite ERP (mandatory).
- Proven experience managing month-end and period-end close processes.
- Extensive experience handling multi-entity accounting and financial consolidations.
- Ability to review, reconcile, and improve accounting data received from third-party accounting firms, fund administrators, or outsourced service providers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to identify accounting issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience collaborating with finance leadership, external stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable operating as a hands-on contributor rather than a people manager.
