We're looking for a Jira Product Discovery (JPD) / Product Portfolio Management Consultant to help the CRM of the Future Program / Martech organization implement and optimize JPD as their go-to Discovery and roadmapping platform for portfolio management. This person will design and configure the JPD environment, migrate roadmap data from Roadmunk, build out prioritization and roadmap views, and ensure smooth connectivity between discovery and delivery.

Responsibilities

- Configure and build Jira Product Discovery spaces, including designing and organizing idea structures, fields, workflows, and portfolio information
- Lead the migration of roadmap data from Roadmunk into Jira Product Discovery, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper structure
- Design and configure JPD views that support product prioritization, roadmap planning, portfolio visibility, and delivery connections
- Build and maintain consolidated roadmaps across Product Lines and Business Lines, tailoring views to different stakeholder groups




- Set up integration and traceability linking product discovery, prioritization, roadmaps, and delivery execution
- Deliver ongoing Jira Product Discovery administration and support for Scrum Masters, Product Managers, and other users
- Guide users on best practices for idea management, prioritization, roadmap creation, stakeholder views, and portfolio reporting
- Collaborate with executive leadership, Product Managers, Scrum Masters, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and turn them into effective JPD solutions
- Lead stakeholder discussions and offer recommendations on portfolio organization, roadmap structures, prioritization approaches, and tool adoption
- Boost user adoption through guidance, knowledge transfer, documentation, and hands-on operational support
- Spot opportunities to enhance portfolio management processes and get the most value out of Jira Product Discovery
- Keep the JPD environment aligned with shifting business, product, and delivery needs throughout the engagement

Requirements

- 10-14 years of overall IT experience
- Deep expertise in Jira Product Discovery (JPD) and the wider Jira ecosystem
- Background in Product Portfolio Management, Product Management, Discovery,



and roadmapping
- Skilled in configuring Jira Product Discovery spaces, ideas, fields, views, and roadmap structures
- Hands-on experience migrating Roadmunk data or other roadmap/portfolio data between tools
- Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, Product Management, and software delivery processes
- Track record of building executive, product-line, business-line, and stakeholder-specific roadmaps
- Familiarity with prioritization frameworks and portfolio visualization techniques
- Ability to link product discovery and roadmap planning with delivery execution
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable working across executive and delivery teams
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and consulting abilities
- Capable of working independently while also collaborating with cross-functional teams
