Role Overview

The School Leader is accountable for driving consistent, high-quality teaching and learning outcomes across Nursery to Class VIII. The role goes beyond coordination to actively shaping classroom practice, strengthening curriculum implementation, and building teacher capability to ensure every student experiences meaningful learning. As the key bridge between the Principal’s vision and on-ground execution, the School Leader ensures that school priorities are translated into clear systems, robust classroom instruction, and measurable student progress.

This role requires leading from the front, through regular classroom observation, coaching, problem-solving, and decision-making, to build a school environment that is structured, inclusive, and focused on holistic child development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Academic Planning & Curriculum Implementation

● Ensure effective implementation of the CBSE-aligned curriculum across Nursery to Class VIII

● Oversee lesson planning, assessments, and academic calendars to ensure coherence and rigor

● Monitor syllabus completion and alignment between planned and delivered curriculum

● Use student performance data to identify learning gaps and drive targeted academic interventions

● Lead and track progress against the School Development Plan, ensuring alignment with academic priorities

2. Instructional Leadership & Teacher Development

● Conduct regular classroom observations to assess instructional quality

● Provide precise, actionable feedback to improve teaching practices

● Design and facilitate teacher training sessions based on classroom needs and school priorities

● Mentor teachers to strengthen pedagogy, subject knowledge, and classroom effectiveness

● Build a culture of professional accountability and continuous improvement

3. School Execution & Systems Management

● Oversee the day-to-day academic functioning of the school (Nursery to Class VIII)



and ensure timely execution of plans and priorities set by the Principal

● Maintain structured academic systems, records, and processes

● Ensure smooth execution of assessments, timetables, and school-level activities

4. Student Culture & Well-being

● Establish and maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive school environment

● Address student behavioral and academic concerns through consistent systems

● Ensure alignment in classroom management practices across grades

● Promote holistic student development, including social, emotional, and ethical growth

5. Stakeholder Management & Conflict Resolution

● Act as the primary point of resolution for concerns involving parents, teachers, and students

● Manage and resolve conflicts in a timely, professional, and solution-oriented manner

● Lead structured parent interactions including meetings, orientations, and follow-ups

● Build strong, trust-based relationships with the parent community

6. Partnerships & Program Integration

● Coordinate with external organizations and ensure effective integration of programs into school priorities

● Evaluate partnerships to support student development outcomes

7. Compliance & External Coordination

● Ensure adherence to CBSE and education department norms and regulations

● Manage documentation, audits, inspections, and reporting requirements

● Implement policy updates and ensure school-wide compliance

Minimum Qualifications for the Role:

Postgraduate degree in Education or relevant field (B.Ed./M.Ed. preferred)

● 5–10 years of experience in teaching and/or school leadership (Nursery to Class VIII)

● Prior experience as Academic Coordinator, Head of Department, or similar role preferred

● Demonstrated strength in instructional leadership, teacher development, and school operations

● Strong communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills

● Ability to drive execution and manage multiple priorities effectively

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
