About the Role

We are looking for a confident, creative, and result-oriented PR Executive to manage public relations, author communications, media outreach, and promotional activities for our publishing house and its authors.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain strong relationships with authors, journalists, media houses, influencers, bloggers, and other industry professionals.
- Develop and execute PR strategies for books, authors, launches, events, and campaigns.
- Coordinate press releases, media coverage, interviews, author features, podcasts, and promotional opportunities.
- Pitch books and authors to relevant newspapers, magazines, digital publications, blogs, and media platforms.
- Manage author publicity and increase their online and media visibility.
- Coordinate with the content, social media, and marketing teams for promotional campaigns.
- Identify relevant media and promotional opportunities for published books.
- Maintain a database of media contacts, influencers, journalists, and PR opportunities.
- Track media coverage, campaign performance, and prepare regular PR reports.
- Coordinate author events, book launches,



literary events, and promotional activities.
- Handle skilled communication with authors and external stakeholders.

Required Skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Good knowledge of PR, media outreach, and digital promotion.
- Ability to write professional emails, press releases, and pitches.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of social media platforms and online media.
- Creative approach with the ability to generate new publicity ideas.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Preferred Qualifications

- Graduate degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field.
- Previous experience in publishing, media, PR, communications, or advertising will be preferred.
- Agency experience will be appreciated.
