Founded in 2020 by IIT-BHU graduates Akash Gupta, Abhinav Roy and Ankit Joshi, we are today rapidly scaling and deploying our tech across 2W and 3W segments with plans to enter 4W and commercial vehicles as well. Job description

Role Overview

To establish, implement and continuously improve a protected working environment across the manufacturing facility by ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 requirements, company safety standards and industry best practices. The Safety Officer shall proactively identify hazards, eliminate risks, conduct investigations, drive safety culture and ensure safe execution of all manufacturing, maintenance and project activities.

Responsibility:

- Develop, implement and monitor the plant safety management system.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies, statutory requirements and ISO +91-XXXXXXXXXX.
- Conduct plant safety inspections, audits and risk assessments (HIRA/JSA).
- Administer the Permit to Work system (Hot Work, Height, Confined Space, Electrical, Excavation, Lifting and Line Breaking).
- Lead incident investigations, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA and lessons learned.
- Manage contractor safety, inductions and compliance.




- Maintain fire protection systems, emergency response plans and conduct mock drills.
- Perform machine safety assessments before commissioning or modification.
- Conduct daily, weekly and monthly safety audits and ensure timely closure.
- Conduct safety induction, toolbox talks and employee awareness programs.
- Maintain statutory records and coordinate inspections with regulatory authorities.
- Support environmental compliance, hazardous waste management and spill response.
- Maintain SOPs, HIRA, JSA, audit reports, PTW records and ISO documentation.
- Manage PPE selection, standardization, issuance and compliance.
- Drive Behaviour Based Safety and safety culture initiatives.

Decision Making Authority

- Authorized to stop any unsafe work immediately where imminent risk exists.
- Reject unsafe work permits until hazards are adequately controlled.
- Escalate critical safety issues directly to the Operations Head.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

- Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Industrial or equivalent.
- Mandatory: Any recognized Diploma/Post Diploma in Industrial Safety.
- 3–5 years in manufacturing safety.
- Automotive, EV battery manufacturing or related manufacturing experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

Pay and Benefits:

Competitive pay as per market standard, will be evaluated based on profile and skills.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
