About the Role

Captures high-quality video and photo content on location and in-studio for brands, campaigns, and social media — working closely with the creative and marketing teams to translate briefs into well-shot raw material ready for editing and publishing.

Key Responsibilities

- Video & Photo Shoots — Plan and execute shoots for brand content, campaigns, events, products, and social media; set up lighting, framing, and composition for both video and stills.
- Equipment & Technical Handling — Operate cameras, lenses, gimbals/stabilizers, drones (where applicable), lighting, and audio recording equipment; ensure gear is maintained and shoot-ready.
- Creative Execution — Interpret shoot briefs and creative direction into actual footage and images; suggest angles, shots, and setups that elevate the final output; adapt shooting style to different brands and platforms.
- Collaboration — Coordinate with creative leads, video editors, designers, and marketing team members before and during shoots; work with clients or subjects on-location professionally.
- File & Workflow Management — Organize, back up, and hand off raw footage and photos properly labeled and ready for editing; maintain shoot schedules and equipment checklists.

Key Performance Areas

Quality of footage/photos captured, technical proficiency, ability to follow shoot briefs, creative eye for composition and lighting, punctuality and shoot planning, equipment handling, file organization and handoff, collaboration with editors and creative team.

Required Skills

Must Have:



Working knowledge of DSLR/mirrorless cameras and basic video/photo settings (exposure, focus, framing, lighting); understanding of composition, angles, and shot types for both video and stills; basic handling of lighting and audio gear; ability to follow shoot briefs and work within deadlines.

Good to Have: Drone operation experience; gimbal/stabilizer skills; basic video editing or photo retouching knowledge; experience shooting for social media/Reels; event or product photography experience.

Who We're Looking For

Someone with a strong visual eye who is comfortable both behind the camera and coordinating a shoot, notices lighting and framing instinctively, stays calm and organized on location, takes direction well, and is eager to build technical and creative skill in a professional setting.

Education & Experience

Degree/diploma in Photography, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Film, or a related field preferred, not mandatory. Freshers with a robust portfolio are encouraged to apply.

Portfolio Requirement

Candidates must submit a portfolio or sample work, which may include: brand or product shoots, event coverage, portraits, short video content/Reels, behind-the-scenes or personal projects.

Reporting & Collaboration

Reports to Creative / Project Lead; works with video editors, graphic designers, creative leads, marketing team, and project teams.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
