Job Summary

WebSenor is looking for an experienced DevOps / Azure Platform Engineer to design, implement, automate, and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience with Azure Cloud, Terraform/IaC, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), CI/CD, Docker, and modern DevOps practices. Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure Security, Splunk, Dynatrace, and SRE practices will be highly valued.

The role involves working closely with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to build reliable deployment pipelines and highly available cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and highly available infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Build, configure, and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, and deployment.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operational processes.
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage container-based workloads.
- Develop and maintain pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Implement Azure security best practices across cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Manage access controls, identities, secrets, networking, and security configurations within Azure.
- Monitor infrastructure, applications, and services using tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability practices.
- Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to improve system reliability, scalability, and availability.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, performance, and production issues.




- Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and problem resolution.
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to improve deployment processes and release automation.
- Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve automation, security, performance, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a related role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Strong knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization.
- Experience with Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of Azure networking, identity, access management, and cloud security.
- Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, and observability.
- Knowledge of Splunk and/or Dynatrace.
- Understanding of SRE principles and DevOps best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of Git and source-control workflows.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Good to Have

- Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer, or Azure Solutions Architect.
- Experience with Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Helm and Kubernetes deployment strategies.
- Experience implementing security and compliance controls in Azure.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code automation and reusable Terraform modules.
- Knowledge of SLOs, SLIs, SLAs, error budgets, and incident management.
- Experience with scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
