A Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) is the top executive who leads financial strategy, treasury management, capital raising, and regulatory compliance.

Role Overview

The CFO reports directly to the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or the Board of Directors. They manage the fiscal health of the NBFC, secure funding lines, and ensure compliance with financial standards and central bank rules.

Key Responsibilities

- Financial Strategy & Planning: Build long-term financial models, annual operating budgets, and capital allocation plans to maximize corporate value.
- Treasury & Fund Raising: Manage cash flow, liquidity, and debt-equity mix. Negotiate credit limits and borrowings with banks, other NBFCs, and financial institutions.
- Regulatory & Statutory Compliance: Ensure complete compliance with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines, Indian accounting standards, tax laws, and external audit requirements.
- Credit Rating & Investor Relations: Maintain and improve credit ratings and manage communications with investors, lenders,



and rating agencies.
- Accounting & Financial Reporting: Oversee the finance and accounts team, financial closing processes, and accurate reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual results.
- Risk Management: Evaluate financial liabilities, asset-liability management (ALM), and liquidity risk frameworks.

Candidate Profile

- Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a premier institution.
- Experience: 15+ years of post-qualification experience in financial services, with several years in a senior leadership or CFO role within an NBFC or bank.
- Core Competencies: Deep knowledge of NBFC regulatory environments, robust negotiation skills for fundraising, and absolute integrity.

Pay: ₹125,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
