Job Summary

We are looking for a confident, articulate, and well-informed News Anchor to present news stories, conduct interviews, and engage audiences through television, digital, or online news platforms. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong command of language, and the ability to deliver accurate and engaging news under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Present and deliver news bulletins, breaking news, and special reports clearly and professionally.
- Research and understand news stories, current affairs, and relevant background information.
- Conduct interviews with experts, officials, public figures, and other guests.
- Prepare and review scripts, headlines, questions, and news briefs.
- Coordinate with reporters, editors, producers, and the newsroom team.
- Handle live broadcasts and breaking-news situations calmly and professionally.
- Verify facts and ensure accuracy before presenting information to the audience.
- Follow editorial standards, journalistic ethics, and applicable broadcasting guidelines.
- Participate in special programs, debates, panel discussions, and field assignments when required.
- Maintain a professional on-camera presence and communicate effectively with viewers.
- Stay updated on national, international, political, business, sports, entertainment, and local news.

Required Qualifications





- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong command of English and/or the relevant regional language.
- Good knowledge of current affairs and general awareness.
- Robust research, interviewing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Comfortable working in live-broadcast environments.
- Previous experience in news anchoring, reporting, or broadcasting is preferred.

Salary will be based on experience, skills, qualifications, and organizational standards.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
