TSS Pune is equipped with a professional live sound system:

Mixing Console: Allen & Heath Avantis
PA System: Meyer Sound Ultra-X40
Sound: Immersive Live Sound System

Role

We are looking for an experienced Live Sound Engineer to take responsibility for the sound and technical execution of our live music programming.

The candidate must have strong experience handling live bands and hands-on experience operating the Allen & Heath Avantis digital mixing console.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate the Allen & Heath Avantis console independently for all live performances.
- Handle FOH mixing for 4–6 piece live bands, DJs and acoustic performances.
- Conduct sound checks and line checks before every performance.
- Manage input/output routing, digital patching, gain structure, EQ, compression, gates and effects.
- Create and manage individual stage monitor mixes.
- Maintain clear vocals, balanced instruments and controlled sound levels throughout the venue.
- Manage console scenes, show files, routing and presets for recurring artists and performances.
- Coordinate with bands and artists regarding technical riders, stage plots and input lists.
- Manage microphones, DI boxes, stage boxes, cabling and other audio equipment.




- Ensure smooth technical transitions between live bands and DJs.
- Identify and resolve feedback, distortion, signal and equipment-related issues during performances.
- Work with the Meyer Sound Ultra-X40 and immersive sound system to maintain consistent sound quality throughout the venue.
- Coordinate with the venue team for stage, lighting, LED screens, playback and PTZ cameras when required.
- Maintain the sound equipment and ensure the complete system is show-ready before every performance.

Experience & Qualifications

- Minimum 2–3 years of professional live sound engineering experience.
- Hands-on professional experience with Allen & Heath Avantis is strongly preferred.
- Candidates must be comfortable independently setting up and mixing a complete live band on a digital console.
- Robust knowledge of FOH mixing, monitors, EQ, dynamics, effects, routing and feedback control.
- Experience handling live bands in bars, clubs, music venues, concerts or similar high-energy environments.
- Strong understanding of microphones, instruments, signal flow and stage setup.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical problems quickly during a live show.
- Good communication and artist-coordination skills.
- Willing to work evenings, weekends and event schedules.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
