A service waiter's job involves creating a great guest experience by greeting customers, presenting menus, taking and delivering accurate food/drink orders, making recommendations, ensuring satisfaction, processing payments, and maintaining clean dining areas, all while coordinating with kitchen staff and adhering to health standards. They act as the main point of contact, requiring strong communication, attentiveness, problem-solving, and physical stamina. Key Responsibilities:

- Guest Interaction: Welcome guests, seat them, present menus, explain specials, and answer questions.
- Order Management: Take accurate orders, communicate them to the kitchen (often via POS systems), and ensure order correctness.
- Food & Beverage Service: Serve meals and drinks promptly, refill beverages, and present food appealingly.
- Customer Satisfaction: Check on guests, anticipate needs, handle complaints professionally, and ensure a positive dining experience.




- Payment Processing: Prepare bills, process payments (cash, card), and provide change.
- Table/Area Maintenance: Clean and set tables, remove dirty dishes, and maintain a clean, sanitary dining environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work with kitchen, bar, and management staff to ensure smooth operations.

Essential Skills & Requirements:

- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
- Ability to stand/walk for long hours (endurance).
- Attention to detail and positive coordination.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Knowledge of POS systems (often required).
- Understanding of health and food safety regulations.
