The Bright Minds is an online learning academy focused on making learning engaging, interactive, and enjoyable for children. We are looking for a passionate Online English Tutor specializing in junior grades (Grade 1–5).

Role Overview

We are looking for a patient, creative, and experienced English tutor who has a robust understanding of early English language development and can build strong foundational skills in young learners.

The ideal candidate should be confident teaching children from Grade 1 to Grade 5 and should be particularly skilled in phonics, pronunciation, reading, writing, and creative language development.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct engaging online English classes for students in Grade 1–5.
- Teach and strengthen phonics and alphabet sounds.
- Help students develop correct pronunciation and sound recognition.
- Build strong reading and vocabulary skills.
- Teach grammar according to the child’s grade level.
- Develop students’ creative writing skills through age-appropriate activities.
- Teach paragraph writing, story writing, and essay writing.
- Improve students’ reading comprehension and writing abilities.
- Use interactive activities, stories, examples, and age-appropriate teaching techniques to keep children engaged.
- Identify individual learning needs and adapt lessons accordingly.




- Provide appropriate homework and follow up on students’ practice.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and child-friendly online classroom.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong expertise in phonics and early literacy.
- Thorough knowledge of alphabet sounds and pronunciation.
- Strong skills in creative writing and essay writing.
- Good understanding of reading comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar for junior grades.
- Previous experience teaching Grade 1–5 students is preferred.
- Ability to make lessons fun, interactive, and engaging for young children.
- Patient, friendly, enthusiastic, and encouraging teaching style.
- Good communication skills with both children and parents.
- Comfortable teaching through online platforms.
- Stable internet connection and suitable equipment for online teaching.

Experience with phonics-based teaching, creative writing, early reading development, or elementary English education will be highly valued.
