Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Chartered Accountant to oversee the financial health of our growing interior design firm. In this role, you will manage day-to-day accounting, handle client milestone billings, track project-wise profitability, ensure strict statutory compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax), and provide strategic financial insights to the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities :

- Financial Operations & AccountingMaintain and oversee accurate general ledger accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable using accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks).
- Manage vendor, contractor, and artisan payments alongside material procurement expense tracking.
- Handle client billing cycles aligned with project milestones (advance, structural completion, final handover).

Project Costing & Profitability:

- Track and analyze project-wise costs, comparing actual expenditures against estimated budgets.
- Generate regular financial reports highlighting cost overruns, profit margins, and cash flow forecasts per design project.
- Assist management in pricing strategies, vendor contract evaluations, and overhead cost controls.

Statutory Compliance & Taxation:

- Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS deductions/returns,



and advance tax payments under local regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants for annual financial statement finalization and income tax filings.
- Maintain compliance with company law, professional tax, and labor-related statutory requirements.

Financial Planning & Reporting:

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements).
- Monitor cash flow to ensure liquidity for ongoing material purchases and operational payroll.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- Qualification : Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI member) or finalist with substantial firm experience.
- Experience : 2–5 years of working experience in corporate finance, taxation, or handling accounts for service/design/construction industries.
- Skills :Advanced proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel.Strong understanding of project accounting, GST, and direct taxation.
- Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail.Positive communication skills to coordinate with vendors and internal project managers.
