About the Role -

We are seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Regenagri Cluster Manager to lead our regenerative agriculture initiatives in Maharashtra (Hingoli & Parbhani). In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for overseeing, educating, and managing a cluster of 2,000 farmers, guiding them through the transition to sustainable farming practices and ensuring successful certification under the Regenagri standard. If you have a deep understanding of soil health, agronomy, and grassroots farmer mobilization, and want to drive climate-smart agriculture at scale, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities –

1. Farmer Mobilisation & Engagement

- Onboard and manage a network of 2,000 farmers within the Maharashtra cluster.
- Foster strong trust and relationships with farming communities, Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs), and local agricultural bodies.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor farm conditions, crop health, and the implementation of regenerative practices.

2. Agronomic Training & Capacity Building

- Train farmers and field staff on core regenerative agriculture practices (e.g., minimum tillage, cover cropping, crop rotation, organic composting, and integrated pest management).
- Organize and lead workshops, field days, and demonstrations tailored to local agro-climatic conditions and crops in Maharashtra.
- Translate complex agricultural concepts into actionable, easy-to-understand steps for the farming community.

3. Regenagri Certification & Compliance

- Ensure the entire cluster meets the criteria outlined in the Regenagri Standard (v.4.0).
- Oversee the collection, digitization, and management of farm-level data required for continuous improvement tracking and third-party audits.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to facilitate smooth certification cycles.

Team & Operations Management

- Lead,mentor, and manage a team of field officers, agronomists, and data enumerators.
- Establish clear KPIs for the field team and ensure project milestones (enrolment, training, audit readiness) are met on time.
- Managelocal logistics, distribute necessary bio-inputs, and track project budgets for the cluster.

Qualifications & Experience

- Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Agriculture,Agronomy, Soil Science, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in agricultural extension, contract farming, FPO management, or sustainability projects.
- Scale: Proven track record of managing large groups of farmers (1,000+). Prior experience with certification standards (Regenagri, Organic, Rainforest Alliance, Fairtrade) is highly preferred.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Language: Native/bilingual proficiency in Marathi is mandatory. Professional proficiency in English and Hindi is preferred.
- Technical: Deep knowledge of soil health, water conservation, and climate-resilient farming techniques.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using farm management software, GPS mapping tools, and mobile data collection apps.
- Leadership: Strong team management, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
