Hibiki Social is looking for a creative and technically strong *Video Editor* who can take raw footage and turn it into engaging, premium, story-driven content.

We’re looking for editors who understand that good editing is more than just cutting footage — it’s about *storytelling, pacing, emotion, retention and visual language.*

What You'll Work On

* YouTube *long-form videos* and narrative content

* Instagram Reels & YouTube Shorts

* Brand films, commercials & campaign content

* Interviews, podcasts, documentaries and creator-led content

* Repurposing long-form content into short-form edits

* Creating edits that are visually strong while maintaining viewer retention

What We're Looking For

* 2–3+ years of professional editing experience

* Strong understanding of *YouTube content, audience retention, pacing and storytelling*

* Ability to independently take an edit from *raw footage to final delivery*

* Strong sense of cuts, rhythm, transitions, sound design and visual storytelling

* Understanding of *color correction/grading, audio mixing and basic motion graphics*

* Ability to work with different footage formats, codecs, resolutions and aspect ratios

* Good understanding of *export settings and delivery requirements* for YouTube, Instagram and commercial platforms

* Experience working with large footage volumes and maintaining an organised project structure





* Ability to meet *tight and clearly defined delivery timelines*

Software

You can work in *any professional editing software* — Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Avid, After Effects, or others.

Strong technical knowledge matters more than the software you use.

*Bonus:* Motion graphics, VFX, Photoshop, AI editing tools or 3D workflow experience.
