Job Title: Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Accounts & Export Compliance
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Work Location: In-person
Experience: Experience in export-oriented companies preferred
Salary: ₹5 – ₹7 LPA, based on experience and expertise
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our team as a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Accounts & Export Compliance. The role involves managing accounting, export documentation, taxation, banking coordination, and statutory compliance for an export-oriented business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting and export compliance processes.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and perform bank, debtor, creditor, and ledger reconciliations.
- Handle export documentation, including invoices, shipping bills, and related records.
- Track export proceeds and ensure timely realization.
- Coordinate with banks and Authorized Dealer (AD) banks for BRCs and export-related requirements.
- Ensure compliance with FEMA regulations related to exports.
- Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
- Handle GST reconciliation, LUT filings, IGST refunds, and export-related GST matters.
- Manage TDS calculation, deduction, payment, and return filing.
- Maintain export receivables and foreign currency accounting.
- Prepare financial statements and MIS reports.
- Coordinate with auditors and CA firms and provide required documentation.
- Support internal and external audits and identify compliance gaps.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of export compliance, FEMA regulations, and banking procedures.
- Hands-on experience in GST filing, reconciliation, and export refunds.
- Working knowledge of TDS and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally/ERP systems.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in an export-oriented company.
- Experience handling BRCs, export proceeds tracking, and AD bank coordination.
- Experience working with CA firms and independently handling audits.
- Familiarity with multi-currency accounting and export documentation workflows.
