- Edit manuscript and articles for spelling, grammar, punctuation, clarity, consistency and rephrasing sentences

Edit the manuscript as per the publisher's language requirements

Quality language editing of journals or books

Regularly check the files copyedited by the editor trainees and give them appropriate feedback

Review author / publisher corrections, analyze errors, and recommend training needs

Undertake quality circles based on error analysis

Make recommendations for automation

Identify bugs in tools and record them for further analysis

Job requirements

- Graduate with 1 - 7 years of experience in language editing of STM journals / books, with high emphasis on quality

Excellent verbal and written English skills with an eye for detail

Expert in MS Office

Enthusiastic learner with a passion for reading / editing
