Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Linux Technical Consultant with strong expertise in Linux administration, virtualization, infrastructure, storage, networking, and customer-facing solution design. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in Linux environments, KVM virtualization, enterprise storage technologies, and troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues while working closely with customers to understand and deliver technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and support enterprise Linux infrastructure.
- Administer Linux servers, troubleshoot operating system and kernel-related issues.
- Implement and manage KVM virtualization environments using libvirt and virsh.
- Perform virtual machine provisioning, migration, optimization, and lifecycle management.
- Configure and maintain Linux services, systemd, filesystems, LVM, and clustering solutions.
- Analyze customer requirements and recommend scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues related to Linux, storage, networking, and virtualization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer solutions.
- Support infrastructure modernization and migration activities.
- Ensure system availability, security, performance, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Prepare technical documentation, implementation guides, and knowledge base articles.
- Participate in customer discussions, technical reviews, and solution workshops.

Screening Criteria

Candidates must have:

- Strong expertise in KVM Virtualization, including libvirt, virsh, VMware basics, and migration strategies.
- Deep knowledge of Linux/Unix, including the kernel, systemd, filesystems, LVM, and clustering.
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure covering compute, storage, networking, and security.
- Hands-on experience with SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel (FC), iSCSI, NFS, VLANs, Bonding, and TCP/IP.
- Proven ability to analyze customer requirements, design solutions, and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.

Location: Pune

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹3,500,000.00 per year
