Fabrication Welder – Job Description

Position: Fabrication Welder
Department: Fabrication / Production
Experience: 2+ Years
Employment Type: Full time

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform Arc/MIG welding as per fabrication drawings and specifications.
- Fabricate and weld MS/SS structures, frames, brackets, machine components, etc.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, welding symbols, and measurements.
- Perform cutting, grinding, drilling, fitting, and other fabrication activities.
- Ensure proper weld quality, alignment, dimensions, and finishing.
- Inspect welded joints for defects such as cracks, porosity, undercut, and incomplete fusion.
- Operate welding machines, grinders, cutting equipment, and other fabrication tools safely.
- Maintain workplace safety and follow company PPE and EHS requirements.
- Coordinate with fitters,



production engineers, and supervisors to complete jobs on time.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and care of tools and equipment.

Required Skills:

- Good knowledge of Arc/MIG welding and fabrication work.
- Ability to read basic fabrication/engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of MS and SS fabrication.
- Good understanding of welding parameters and joint preparation.
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as measuring tape, vernier, square, etc.
- Safety-conscious and physically fit for fabrication work.

Qualification: ITI Welder / Relevant Technical Qualification preferred.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 per month
