Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated design engineer with 1–2 years of relevant experience in industrial/manufacturing design. The candidate should have strong hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks, along with a basic understanding of 3D modelling, engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes.

The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and modifying engineering drawings, developing 3D models, making design revisions, and coordinating with production and other departments to ensure smooth execution of design requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, modify, and maintain 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
- Create and modify 3D models, parts, and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Prepare detailed drawings with proper dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings and convert design requirements into technical drawings.
- Make design changes and revisions as per project and production requirements.
- Coordinate with the Production, Quality, and other relevant departments regarding design-related activities.
- Provide technical support for manufacturing and production requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and revision control of drawings.




- Ensure drawings and designs comply with specified technical requirements.
- Assist in improving existing designs and manufacturing processes.
- Perform other design and engineering activities as assigned by the reporting manager.

Required Skills

- AutoCAD 2D – Strong working knowledge
- SolidWorks – Good/Full working knowledge
- Basic knowledge of 3D modelling
- Good understanding of engineering drawings
- Knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, and basic design principles
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work effectively with production and engineering teams

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in design engineering, preferably in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
