The selected candidate will initially work from Crystals, Goregaon East for 2–3months. After this period, the candidate will be required to work permanently at Shakman Surfaces LLP our Padghe, Palghar East facility.

Preference will be given to candidates residing in the Vasai–Dahanu Road region.

- Role Overview

We are looking for a Design Engineer with strong knowledge of SolidWorks to join our engineering and Manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for mechanical design, 3D modelling, 2D drawings, development of machine components, and preparation of manufacturing drawings.

- Key Responsibilities

 Create 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.

 Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.

 Develop and modify machine components and assemblies as per requirements.

 Prepare fabrication and machining drawings with proper dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.

 Understand engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.

 Select suitable materials and standard components for mechanical designs.

 Make design modifications based on manufacturing and site requirements.





 Coordinate with production, fabrication, machining, and purchase teams.

 Maintain design documentation, drawings, BOMs, and revision records.

 Support troubleshooting and improvement of existing machine components.

 Ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and suitable for manufacturing.

- Required Skills & Qualifications

 Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

 Good working knowledge of SolidWorks.

 Knowledge of 3D modelling, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings.

 Understanding of basic mechanical design principles.

 Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.

 Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Experience : 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design/manufacturing is preferred.

Freshers with good knowledge of SolidWorks may also apply.

- Preferred Candidate:

 Practical approach towards mechanical design.

 Good attention to dimensions and detailing.

 Willingness to work closely with the manufacturing team.

 Ability to modify and improve existing designs.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
