Job Description: Web Designer – Figma, Shopify & React.js

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer with strong hands-on experience in Figma and good exposure to Shopify theme creation and customization.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of modern website design, responsive layouts, UI/UX principles, and frontend implementation. Some hands-on experience with React.js will be an added advantage.

The candidate will be responsible for designing visually appealing websites in Figma and translating those designs into responsive, functional web interfaces, particularly for Shopify-based ecommerce websites.

Key Responsibilities

- Create modern, responsive, and user-friendly website designs using Figma.
- Design website layouts, landing pages, ecommerce pages, product pages, and other web interfaces.
- Convert Figma designs into responsive and pixel-perfect web pages.
- Create and customize Shopify themes based on design and business requirements.
- Work on Shopify theme sections, templates, blocks, layouts, and customizations.
- Develop visually appealing and responsive Shopify storefronts.
- Ensure consistency in typography, colors, spacing, layouts, and overall visual design.
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other team members to implement designs effectively.
- Make frontend/UI changes and improvements in existing websites.
- Ensure websites are responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Identify and resolve UI/UX and frontend-related issues.
- Optimize website designs for usability, performance, and user experience.
- Stay updated with modern web design trends, ecommerce design practices, Shopify updates, and frontend technologies.
- Use AI tools to improve design,



development, research, and overall productivity.

Required Skills - Figma & Web Design

- Strong hands-on experience with Figma.
- Ability to create website designs from scratch based on requirements.
- Good understanding of UI/UX principles and modern web design practices.
- Experience designing responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Strong understanding of typography, spacing, grids, colors, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to create reusable design components and maintain design consistency.
- Experience converting designs into developer-ready layouts.

Shopify

- Good hands-on exposure to Shopify theme creation and customization.
- Experience working with Shopify storefronts and ecommerce websites.
- Understanding of Shopify theme structure and customization.
- Experience creating/customizing sections, templates, blocks, and page layouts.
- Ability to implement Figma designs into Shopify themes.
- Understanding of responsive Shopify website development.
- Experience troubleshooting and making UI changes in Shopify themes.

Frontend

- Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
- Basic to good knowledge of JavaScript.
- Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Ability to convert Figma designs into clean and responsive frontend interfaces.

React.js – Added Advantage

- Some hands-on experience with React.js.
- Basic understanding of React components, props, and state.
- Ability to work with and make UI-level changes in existing React projects.
- Willingness to further develop React.js skills.

AI Tools

- Worked on AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Codex, or similar tools.
- Ability to use AI tools for design ideation, frontend development, debugging, research, and productivity.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
