Job Summary

We are hiring a Solar Technician with hands-on experience in ground mounted solar power plant operations and maintenance. The role involves field-level troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, and supervision of junior technicians to ensure smooth and reliable plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out daily inspection and maintenance of PV modules, strings, SCB, SMB, inverters, RMU, LT/HT panels, UPS & batteries, and associated equipment.
- Perform cleaning, tightening, replacement, and repair activities as per O&M; schedules.
- Attend faults and breakdowns on AC/DC side; troubleshoot and restore operation quickly.
- Assist in transformer and switchgear testing under engineer’s guidance (IR, winding resistance, ratio tests, etc.).
- Monitor system alarms and report issues to the engineer for further action.
- Maintain records of daily work, fault rectifications, and spares usage.
- Guide and supervise junior technicians/helpers in carrying out field tasks safely.




- Ensure all safety procedures and PPE usage are strictly followed at site.

Qualifications

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical (mandatory).
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in solar power plant O&M.;
- Strong skills in electrical troubleshooting, inverter operation, and string fault rectification.
- Ability to handle tools, instruments, and testing equipment safely.
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions and attend breakdowns at any time.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
