About the Role
As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for building and managing social media ecosystems for brands — from strategy and content thinking to execution, community and performance.
We’re looking for someone who understands that outstanding social media isn’t just about posting consistently. It’s about knowing what people care about, what they will stop for, what they will share, and how brands can meaningfully participate in culture.
You should be equally comfortable developing a content strategy, spotting a trend, writing a sharp caption, briefing a creative team, presenting to a client and looking at the numbers to understand what worked.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies that align with brand objectives, communication priorities and business goals.
- Own the end-to-end social media presence across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X and emerging platforms.
- Develop and manage monthly content calendars with a strong mix of brand storytelling, topical content, trends, cultural moments, engagement-led content and campaigns.
- Lead social-first content ideation and contribute to campaign concepts, creative briefs, copies, captions, formats and executions.
- Work closely with Creative, Content, Strategy, Influencer and Performance teams to develop integrated and platform-native campaigns.
- Stay on top of trends, memes, internet culture, creator behaviour and platform developments, and identify opportunities for brands to participate meaningfully.
- Understand the nuances of different platforms and translate a core brand idea into content that works natively across each platform.
- Drive day-to-day community management, including comments, DMs, audience queries and brand conversations.
- Monitor conversations around brands, categories and culture to identify opportunities for real-time marketing and engagement.
- Collaborate with influencers and creators and support the development and execution of creator-led campaigns.
- Track social media performance and use platform analytics and reporting tools to understand content and audience behaviour.
- Prepare monthly performance reports with clear insights, learnings and actionable recommendations.
- Present social media strategies, content calendars, campaign ideas and performance reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Manage multiple brands and accounts simultaneously while maintaining quality, consistency and timelines.
- Take ownership of social media deliverables from brief → idea → execution → publishing → community → reporting.
What We're Looking For
- 2–10 years of experience in social media management, preferably within a digital, creative or advertising agency.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Reels and YouTube, along with working knowledge of other major social platforms.
- A strong instinct for content, culture and what makes people stop scrolling.
- Ability to turn a brief into relevant, interesting and platform-native social ideas.
- Strong copywriting and content sensibility — you know what to say, how to say it and when to say it.
- Ability to understand trends without blindly following them, and identify which ones are relevant for a brand.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn social media data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication, presentation and client-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with creative, strategy, content, influencer and performance teams.
- Strong project-management skills and the ability to manage multiple brands, priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail, curiosity and a strong sense of ownership.
- A proactive mindset — someone who brings ideas to the table rather than waiting for a brief.
Good to Have
- Experience in influencer and creator marketing.
- Understanding of paid social and key performance metrics.
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, social listening and social media scheduling tools.
- Experience working on digital-first campaigns and integrated brand campaigns.
- Experience in client servicing or presenting directly to clients.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Flexible schedule
- Health insurance
- Leave encashment
- Paid sick time
- Provident Fund
- Work from home
Work Location: In person
