Job Summary

Kannur Medical College is seeking a skilled and responsible Endoscopy Technician to assist doctors during endoscopic procedures and ensure proper preparation, handling, and maintenance of endoscopy equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare the endoscopy room, equipment, and required instruments before procedures.
- Assist doctors and nursing staff during endoscopic procedures.
- Handle, clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopy instruments as per hospital protocols.
- Monitor and maintain endoscopy equipment and accessories.
- Ensure availability of required consumables and instruments.
- Follow infection control and patient safety protocols.
- Assist with patient preparation and post-procedure care.
- Maintain procedure records, equipment logs,



and related documentation.
- Report equipment issues or abnormalities to the concerned department.

Qualification

- Diploma/B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology, Endoscopy Technology, or a relevant healthcare field.
- Relevant experience in an endoscopy unit will be an advantage.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply.
