Will be directly responsible to Facilities Manager and Head of Operations on all matters pertaining to efficient functioning of the school buses and vehicles, maintenance of vehicles, routing and scheduling.

Bus Transport and School Vehicles

- Plan and implement bus routes and resolves problems related to transportation
- Audit bus routes/bus schedules as well as changes to bus routes/ bus schedules and communicate changes to drivers, campuses, parents and students
- Maintain a record of dates when a student starts bus service or discontinues it
- Review and resolve parent and/or driver complaints related to bus transportation
- Inspect the bus drivers’ diary daily and bring to notice any untoward delay/incident
- Maintaining records of the buses and other vehicles
- Maintaining records of the bus routes, parents, bus parents and drivers contact details and updating the same on a continuous basis
- Making substitutions when bus parents are absent
- Responsible for the assignment/distribution of work, routes, and buses to meet the needs of the operation with emphasis on safety, cost control, and responsiveness to operational needs




- Review and evaluate work of assigned personnel including bus drivers, bus monitors, and direct subordinates in planning work assignments, regularly observe their work performance, resolve personnel problems, make decisions concerning assignment/reassignments
- Schedule, coordinate, and assign field trips etc. to bus drivers
- Act as a substitute bus driver, when needed
- Investigate, document, manage and resolve complaints, incidents and concerns from parents and staff.
- Optimize routing, vehicle utilization and cost by ensuring route efficiency and the effective use of technology.
- Evaluate the performance of all transport staff.
- Prepare monthly reports on drivers / buses / bus parents etc.

School drivers

- Recruit new drivers and check their antecedents before they Interviewed.
- Scheduling and maintaining records of the school drivers duties
- Keep records of the drivers leave details

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
