CCTV Installation Technician – Freelancer

We are looking for an experienced CCTV Installation Technician to work with us on a freelance, project-based basis in Bangalore.

The technician will visit customer locations for CCTV installation, configuration, troubleshooting and service work. The technician should be able to work independently and handle customer locations professionally.

Key Responsibilities

- Visit customer locations for CCTV installation and service work
- Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVRs and NVRs
- Perform CCTV cable wiring, routing, connector termination and testing
- Configure DVR/NVR systems and basic network settings
- Set up remote CCTV viewing on mobile phones
- Troubleshoot cameras, DVR/NVR, power supply, cabling and connectivity issues
- Replace faulty CCTV components when required
- Carry out CCTV maintenance and service visits
- Explain basic CCTV operation and mobile viewing to customers
- Maintain professional communication and behaviour at customer locations
- Complete assigned work within the agreed time

Requirements

- Previous experience in CCTV installation and servicing
- Good knowledge of CCTV cameras, DVRs and NVRs
- Basic knowledge of networking and router configuration




- Ability to troubleshoot common CCTV installation and service issues
- Ability to work independently at customer locations
- Basic CCTV installation tools preferred
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred
- Positive communication and customer-handling skills

Payment

Payment will be provided on a per-installation or per-service-assignment basis, depending on the type and scope of work.

Payment will be discussed and confirmed before each assignment.

Important

This is a freelance/project-based opportunity and does not include a fixed monthly salary. Work assignments will be provided based on customer requirements and technician availability.
