About the role

We are building a specialist team for a telecom transformation engagement. As Cybersecurity Specialist you will make sure the solution is secure by design and stands up to the regulatory expectations placed on telecom operators.

Key responsibilities

● Define security architecture, controls and standards across cloud, network and application layers.

● Carry out risk assessments and threat modelling, and track remediation to closure.

● Design identity and access management, encryption and secrets management approaches.

● Support vulnerability management, penetration testing and security assurance activities.





● Map the solution against regulatory and industry requirements and evidence compliance.

● Advise delivery teams on secure configuration and secure development practice.

● Support incident response readiness, including monitoring and SOC integration.

What you'll bringEssential

● 8+ years in cybersecurity, including security architecture or consulting roles.

● Solid knowledge of cloud security across at least one major platform.

● Experience with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST or CIS.

● Experience with IAM, network security, encryption and vulnerability management.

● Experience with SIEM and security monitoring tooling.

● Ability to explain security risk clearly to non technical senior stakeholders.

● Based in India or the Middle East, with the right to work there.

Desirable

● Telecom security experience, including regulatory requirements in the Middle East.

● Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP or cloud security specialisms.

● Experience supporting security audits or regulatory assessments.
