Tally & Store Accountant

Location: Noida

Function: Accounts/Stores/Manufacturing Operations

Role Purpose

Responsible for end-to-end material accounting, inventory control and manufacturing transactions in Tally — from purchase and material inward through job-work issue, production consumption, finished-goods inward, costing and stock reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and maintain BOMs in Tally for different products and variants.
- Maintain stock items, material codes, stock groups, categories, units and BOM revisions.
- Record purchases against PO, Invoice and Packing List and prepare/verify GRNs.
- Ensure physical material inward reconciles with purchase documents and Tally.
- Maintain batch/lot-wise inventory and part-number/material-code records.
- Issue raw materials/components for job work, sub-assembly and production with proper Tally entries and documentation.
- Track material lying with job workers / production as WIP.
- Record material consumption against the applicable production BOM.
- Record finished-goods inward against production/job-work records.
- Reconcile Material Issued → Consumption → Rejection/Scrap → WIP/Balance → Finished Goods Produced.
- Record job-work charges and assist in finished-product cost allocation.
- Allocate applicable freight, duty, clearing and other landed costs to inventory/product cost.




- Monitor BOM consumption vs actual consumption and investigate variances.
- Maintain accurate records of raw material, WIP, material with job workers and finished goods.
- Carry out regular physical stock reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock, consumption, WIP and costing reports for management.
- Maintain complete supporting documents and audit trail for all inventory movements.

Candidate Profile

- B.Com / equivalent qualification.
- 3–6 years of hands-on Tally inventory and accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing/electronics.
- Strong understanding of BOM, GRN, Purchase, Stock Journal, Job Work, Material Issue/Receipt, Manufacturing Entries and Inventory Reconciliation.
- Positive knowledge of inventory costing and cost allocation.
- Comfortable handling a large number of material/part codes and production transactions.
- Good Excel skills and attention to detail.

Key Requirement

This is not a routine bookkeeping position. The candidate must have strong hands-on experience in Tally Inventory + Store Accounting + Manufacturing BOM + Job Work + Material Consumption & Reconciliation.

Reporting: Accounts Head, with regular coordination with Stores, SCM and Production teams.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
