Nursing Head – Chennai

Job Summary

We are looking for a Nursing Head to oversee nursing operations and support quality patient care at our Chennai centre. The candidate should have hands-on experience in IVF along with experience managing and coordinating a nursing team.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day nursing activities.
- Allocate duties and prepare nursing staff schedules.
- Monitor patient care and ensure nursing procedures are followed appropriately.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other clinical departments.
- Support patient preparation and care during consultations and procedures.
- Guide nursing staff on clinical protocols, documentation, and patient communication.
- Monitor nursing records and ensure documentation is maintained accurately.
- Support infection-control and patient-safety practices.
- Monitor nursing supplies, equipment, and day-to-day requirements.




- Assist with staff training, orientation, and performance-related coordination.
- Address routine patient-care concerns and escalate clinical matters to the appropriate doctor.
- Help maintain smooth nursing operations across the centre.

Eligibility

- GNM / B.Sc Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid nursing registration as applicable.
- Previous experience in a Nursing Head / Nursing Manager / Senior Nursing leadership role.
- IVF centre experience is required.
- Experience in maternity, women’s healthcare, or hospital settings is an advantage.
- Positive team-management and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple nursing activities effectively.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
