Odishri News is a growing regional news channel committed to delivering accurate, timely, and impactful news to our viewers.

Role Overview:

We are looking for an energetic and dedicated Reporter to cover news stories, conduct interviews, and deliver on-ground/field reporting for our channel.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather, verify, and report news stories from the field

Conduct interviews with sources, officials, and the public

Deliver live reports/PTCs (Piece to Camera) as required

Coordinate with the editorial/production team for timely news coverage

Research and stay updated on current affairs and local issues

Maintain accuracy, objectivity, and ethical standards in reporting





Work on breaking news and special assignments as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Journalism/Mass Communication or related field (preferred)

Prior experience in reporting/journalism is a plus (freshers can also apply)

Strong command over [Odia/Hindi/English] language, both written and spoken

Positive communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

Willingness to travel for field assignments

Skills Preferred:

On-camera confidence

Basic knowledge of camera/editing (added advantage)

Networking and source-building ability
