Job Purpose:
To plan, schedule, monitor, and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure machines and projects are completed on time, within the planned resources, and as per customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare production and project plans based on customer delivery schedules.
- Prepare machine-wise / project-wise planning schedules.
- Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Production, Fabrication, CNC, Assembly and Quality departments.
- Prepare and monitor BOM and material availability.
- Follow up with Purchase for required raw materials, bought-out items and components.
- Prepare production work orders / job cards as per approved drawings and BOM.
- Monitor daily production progress against planned targets.
- Identify delays, bottlenecks and resource requirements.
- Maintain daily/weekly/monthly production planning reports.
- Track machine manufacturing activities from drawing release → material procurement → fabrication/machining → assembly → testing → dispatch.
- Coordinate with Design for drawing/BOM release and revisions.
- Coordinate with Quality for inspection and clearance at required stages.




- Prepare dispatch and delivery plans.
- Maintain project status and communicate delays to management.
- Support capacity planning for manpower, machines and production resources.
- Maintain planning records, production schedules and project documentation.
- Suggest improvements to reduce lead time, waiting time and production delays.
- Ensure planning follows company procedures and customer/GMP requirements where applicable.

Experience Required

Planning Engineer: 3–6 years

Preferred experience:

- Machinery manufacturing
- Pharmaceutical/GMP machinery
- Packaging machinery
- Engineering/manufacturing industry
- Production planning & project planning
- ERP/MRP systems
- MS Excel and planning tools

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering
- Strong knowledge of Production Planning, BOM, MRP/ERP and manufacturing processes.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
