CraftMyPlate is a Hyderabad-based catering and bulk food ordering platform. Customers book events through our app, and we deliver through our kitchen and vendor partners. We are growing fast and are building our in-house finance team.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on accountant to manage our day-to-day accounts. You will handle the books, vendor payments, customer invoices, bank and payment gateway reconciliation, and GST/TDS filings. You will work directly with the founders.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day books of accounts in Zoho Books
- Record sales, purchases, expenses, and journal entries accurately
- Process vendor and kitchen partner payments; maintain vendor ledgers
- Raise customer invoices and track advances, balances, and refunds
- Daily bank reconciliation for all company accounts
- Reconcile payment gateway settlements (Razorpay / PhonePe / UPI) against orders — gross collection, fees, refunds, net credit
- Prepare and file GST returns — GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, ITC matching
- Handle TDS — deduction, monthly payment, quarterly returns, Form 16A
- Support payroll accounting and statutory payments (PF, ESI, PT)
- Prepare monthly P&L;, balance sheet,



and expense reports
- Maintain debtors and creditors ageing reports
- Coordinate with auditors and the CA firm; provide schedules and data
- Maintain a compliance calendar — no missed due dates

Required Skills

- CA Inter (Semi Qualified CA) with 2–5 years of accounting experience
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Books (or Tally, with willingness to move to Zoho Books)
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets – VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, SUMIFS
- Practical experience filing on the GST portal and TRACES portal
- Valuable understanding of GST, TDS, and basic accounting standards
- Ability to reconcile large volumes of transactions accurately
- Good communication in English, Hindi, and Telugu (preferred)

Good to Have

- Experience in food, catering, cloud kitchen, e-commerce, or D2C companies
- Experience in a startup where you set up processes from scratch
- Experience reconciling payment gateway or marketplace settlements

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
