Key Responsibilities

- Assist in Upper GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP and EUS
- Prepare and check endoscopy equipment before procedures
- Assist the gastroenterologist during procedures
- Proper handling and cleaning/disinfection/reprocessing of endoscopes
- Maintain endoscopy room, equipment and accessories
- Maintain procedure records, checklists and inventory
- Follow infection-control and biomedical-waste protocols
- Identify and report equipment malfunction promptly
- Assist with patient preparation and post-procedure care
- Maintain readiness of accessories such as biopsy forceps, snares, clips, guidewires, stents and other endoscopy accessories

Preferred Skills

- Diploma/B.Sc. in OT Technology, Endoscopy Technology, or related field
- Previous experience in a Gastroenterology/Endoscopy unit preferred




- Experience with ERCP/EUS will be an advantage
- Knowledge of endoscope reprocessing and infection-control protocols
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Willingness to learn advanced therapeutic endoscopy procedures
