Position: MEP Quantity Surveyor – Pre-Contract

Location: Bangalore / Chennai

Experience: 2–8 Years

Industry: Commercial Interior Fit-Out

Key Responsibilities

Handle pre-contract quantity surveying and estimation for MEP works.

Prepare and review BOQ, quantity take-offs and detailed cost estimates.

Analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications and scope of work.

Prepare rate analysis, material costing and comparative statements.

Review quotations from vendors/subcontractors and support commercial negotiations.

Prepare tender submissions and cost proposals within project timelines.

Identify scope gaps, exclusions, deviations and potential cost impacts.

Coordinate with Design, Projects, Procurement and MEP teams for accurate estimation.

Support value engineering and cost optimization during the pre-contract stage.

Maintain proper documentation of estimates, quotations and tender-related commercial data.

Preferred Experience

Experience in commercial interior fit-out projects with hands-on exposure to MEP estimation, tendering and pre-contract commercial activities from tender stage to project award.

Candidate Profile

Candidates should have solid analytical and commercial skills, attention to detail, good understanding of MEP scope and the ability to coordinate with internal teams, vendors and subcontractors during the pre-contract stage.
