Main Responsibilities
This role will serve as a member of the Legal Compliance Monitoring team in Operations. Working with limited supervision and following defined procedures, the job holder will execute assigned compliance monitoring activities within the agreed scope for Accenture’s Ethics & Compliance programs, including Anticorruption, Anti-Money Laundering/Terrorist Financing, Competition Law, Confidentiality, Data Privacy, Data and AI, Government Compliance, and Trade Compliance. The role will use continuous auditing and analytics to identify potentially non-compliant transactions, data inconsistencies, trends, anomalies, and potential risks; prepare accurate and complete supporting workpapers and draft scorecard inputs; summarize results and opportunities for improvement; support remediation and action planning; and promptly escalate questions or significant issues. The role may also support pilot activities for recent or expanded monitoring by performing testing, data analysis, and documentation and providing structured feedback under the guidance of the Associate Manager or Program Lead.
Type of Experience
Experience in Compliance Monitoring, Ethics & Compliance, Audit, Internal Controls, Risk Management, Governance, or a related assurance function is preferred. Relevant experience in data analytics is also valued, including sourcing, organizing, and analyzing data; identifying facts, findings, trends, and anomalies; documenting work accurately; and drafting clear, evidence-based conclusions for review.
Technical and Personal Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, International Relations, Law, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field. Equivalent relevant professional experience may also be considered.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables; experience with macros and data visualization tools, preferably Power BI, is desirable
- Ability to follow defined monitoring procedures, apply compliance, audit, controls, or risk concepts, and clearly document the work performed
- Experience preparing complete and accurate workpapers, supporting evidence, and draft reporting or scorecard inputs
- Familiarity with continuous monitoring, continuous auditing, controls testing, or compliance testing methodologies is desirable
- Ability to contribute improvement ideas based on execution experience and support approved updates to procedures and job aids
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to coordinate assigned activities and meet agreed deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, including the ability to explain assigned analyses and results to stakeholders
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the ability to identify data inconsistencies, trends, anomalies, and potential risks and escalate them appropriately
- Ability to work effectively in situations involving ambiguity, seeking guidance and escalating questions when appropriate
- Professional proficiency in English
