K.J. Somaiya Hospital & Research Centre, a 550-bedded medical college and hospital in Sion, Mumbai, is hiring Resident Medical Officers/ Physician Assistants for its Wards and Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage admitted patients in the wards and carry out daily rounds with consultants

- Attend and stabilise patients in the Emergency Department and triage cases

- Handle medical emergencies and escalate to consultants on time

- Follow treatment plans and monitor patient progress

- Maintain accurate case records, admission notes and discharge summaries

- Counsel patients and relatives on treatment and care

- Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments for smooth patient care

Requirements:

- MBBS / BAMS / BHMS





- Valid registration with the respective Maharashtra council (MMC / MCIM / MCH)

- Good clinical knowledge and ability to handle emergencies

- Good communication with patients and relatives

- Willingness to work rotational shifts is mandatory
