Job Summary

Les Amis is looking for an experienced and customer-focused Head Waiter to join our Front of House team. The candidate will be responsible for supervising the service team, ensuring smooth restaurant operations, maintaining service standards, and delivering an excellent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate waiters, runners, and other FOH team members during service.
- Allocate tables and duties based on operational requirements.
- Ensure smooth and efficient service throughout the guest journey.
- Take and ensure accurate communication of guest orders.
- Coordinate effectively with the kitchen and other FOH teams.
- Monitor food and beverage service, table clearing, and overall service standards.
- Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Support the team during peak hours and ensure timely service.
- Train and guide junior service staff on SOPs and service standards.
- Monitor staff grooming, hygiene, punctuality, and discipline.
- Ensure proper table setup and cleanliness of the service area.




- Promote suggestive selling and upselling to improve sales.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Report operational issues to the FOH Head / Restaurant Manager.
- Ensure crockery, cutlery, and service equipment are properly handled and maintained.

Requirements

- 2–4 years of experience in a Head Waiter, Captain, Senior Waiter, or similar FOH position.
- Previous experience in a restaurant, café, hotel, or premium dining setting.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant service operations.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to supervise and motivate a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good knowledge of service etiquette and guest experience.
- Professional grooming and positive attitude.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in premium cafés, restaurants, hotels, casual dining, or fine dining will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
