Position: Bus Driver
Organization: Godavari Global University (GGU), Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh
Job Responsibilities
- Drive university buses safely and responsibly on assigned routes.
- Pick up and drop off students and staff as per the scheduled timings.
- Follow all traffic rules and road-safety regulations.
- Maintain discipline and safety of passengers during travel.
- Check the bus before and after each trip for basic safety and operational issues.
- Keep the bus clean and well-maintained.
- Report vehicle problems, accidents, or maintenance requirements immediately.
- Maintain required trip and vehicle records.
- Follow instructions from the Transport Department.
- Demonstrate courteous and professional behavior with students, staff, and the public.
Eligibility
- Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) / Transport Driving Licence.
- 5 years of relevant bus-driving experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of local routes and surrounding areas.
- Protected driving record and responsible attitude.
- Ability to work according to university transport schedules.
