1. Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced L3 Network Administrator and Security Lead responsible for the design,
administration, troubleshooting, security, availability and continuous improvement of critical production network
infrastructure. The role requires strong hands-on expertise across Palo Alto and SonicWall firewalls, Cisco routers
and switches, AWS and Microsoft Azure network security controls, WAF and DDoS protection.
The position also owns L3 escalation, major incident handling, vendor and customer coordination,
audit/compliance activities, change management and technical leadership of a team of network administrators.
2. Production Network & Firewall Management
Manage and maintain production network infrastructure with focus on availability, performance, resilience and
security.
Administer and troubleshoot enterprise Palo Alto Networks and SonicWall firewalls.
Manage firewall policies, NAT, routing, VPNs, security rules, objects, interfaces and zones.
Manage and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches, including VLANs, trunking, STP/RSTP, ACLs, inter-
VLAN routing and routing protocols.
Perform L3 troubleshooting for complex network, application-connectivity and security issues.
Analyze traffic flows, logs, alerts and performance data to identify root causes.
Implement production changes through approved change-management procedures.
Participate in network upgrades, migrations, technology refreshes and infrastructure optimization.
Own major network incidents through resolution, RCA and corrective actions.
3. Network & Cloud Security
Administer security controls across on-premises, AWS and Microsoft Azure environments.
Manage AWS VPC networking, Security Groups, Network ACLs, route tables and hybrid connectivity.
Manage Azure VNets, Network Security Groups (NSGs), route tables / UDRs and related security controls.
Configure, review and troubleshoot AWS/Azure WAF policies and application traffic rules.
Manage and monitor DDoS protection mechanisms in cloud environments.
Perform periodic reviews of firewall, security-group and NSG rules to identify unnecessary or overly
permissive access.
Coordinate with security, application and cloud teams for security hardening and remediation.
Support vulnerability remediation, security assessments and cloud/network security audits.
4. Hybrid Cloud & Connectivity
Troubleshoot connectivity between on-premises data centers and AWS/Azure environments.
Support VPN and other secure hybrid connectivity mechanisms.
Participate in cloud network design, migration, segmentation and security-hardening initiatives.
Maintain accurate cloud and on-premises network architecture and connectivity documentation.

5. Vendor Management & Coordination
Act as the technical point of contact for OEMs, network/security vendors, service providers and
implementation partners.
Raise, manage and escalate vendor support cases and ensure resolution within agreed SLAs.
Coordinate hardware replacement, AMC/support activities, licensing, upgrades and renewals.
Lead technical discussions with vendors and validate proposed solutions.
Track vendor actions, dependencies and closure of technical issues.
6. Customer & Stakeholder Coordination
Act as a technical point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders on network and security matters.
Participate in customer calls, service reviews, technical discussions, incident bridges and planned-change
meetings.
Provide explicit technical updates during major incidents and changes.
Ensure requests and incidents are resolved within agreed SLA/OLA requirements.
Prepare and present incident updates, RCA documents, service reports and improvement plans.
7. Audit, Compliance & Governance
Support internal, external, customer and regulatory audits related to network and cloud security.
Provide evidence for firewall, router, switch, cloud security, access control, change-management and security
controls.
Maintain network diagrams,
configuration records, asset information, operational procedures and audit
evidence.
Participate in firewall and cloud security rule reviews.
Track audit observations, remediation plans and closure evidence.
Ensure operational activities comply with IT policies, security standards and approved procedures.
8. Team Leadership & People Management
Lead and manage a team of Network Administrators / Network Engineers supporting day-to-day operations.
Allocate work, prioritize incidents and monitor team performance.
Provide L3 technical guidance and escalation support to L1/L2 teams.
Lead major incidents and coordinate technical resources until service restoration.
Conduct knowledge-sharing and technical training sessions.
Review team capability and identify training and development requirements.
Ensure effective shift handover, escalation, documentation and operational discipline.
Drive proactive monitoring, problem management and continuous improvement.
9. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain current network topology diagrams, firewall architecture, IP addressing documentation and
configuration records.
Maintain SOPs, troubleshooting guides, change records, RCA reports and operational checklists.
Prepare periodic network health, security and service-performance reports.
Ensure production changes and configurations are accurately documented.
